Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!
Today, Dragonflies have found out about St David's Day.
They found out that people who live in Wales and those of Welsh origin celebrate the life of their patron saint, Saint David on 1st March each year. We talked about how some people pin a daffodil to their clothes and others, especially children, wear traditional costumes. Dragonflies looked at the Welsh flag and created their own, as well as observing some real daffodils blooming in a vase in our classroom.
